Measure out 1 1/2 cups of flour.

Mix 1 teaspoon baking powder with 1 cup of water.
Add 1 cup water and mix until the dough comes together.
(The dough is a bit sticky at first.)
Roll out the dough on a floured surface, and fold it into the dough.
Using a 1-inch-diameter cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet.
Using your hands, transfer the dough to the cookie jar.
Let the cookie set for 1 to 2 hours.
When the cookies have hardened, remove them from the cookie jars.
Remove the lid and keep them covered for up to a week.
The cookies will keep in a tightly sealed container in the fridge.
You can even freeze the cookies for later use.
The next time you’re cooking for a big party, you can bake them in the cookie Jar or bake them with a baking sheet to keep it from drying out.
