I had always wanted to make my own ceramic Christmas tree.
But then I found out that you can make it in a microwave!
The trick is to melt a piece of aluminum foil in a bowl and place it over the hot pan, creating an airtight seal.
It’s a good idea to microwave the aluminum foil before you put it in the oven to prevent burning it.
The easiest way to do this is to use a food processor, but a food thermometer can also be used.
You want to melt one sheet of aluminum in the microwave at a time, which will create a small amount of heat, and place the aluminum over the pan.
While it’s heating up, melt another sheet of the aluminum in a similar way to how you did it before.
Put a piece on the plate and microwave for 30 seconds, and then flip the tray over and place a second sheet of foil on top.
Once the heat has melted the foil and the microwave is off, place the tray back in the pan and cook for another minute.
Then remove it from the heat and let it cool.
It’ll be slightly soft, but not too soft.
To make the ceramic birdhouse I used a 2-liter saucepan.
To make the pottery, you’ll need a 3-liter bowl, a bowl holder and a ceramic bowl.
